The YAKUDO, meaning Lively Motion (formerly TSA), is the original heavyweight tournament uniform that was developed through extensive research and investigation with competitors of many styles and organizations to provide the best uniform possible. It utilizes the larger cut for easy movement and a heavier weight to create the distinctive sound made when doing techniques.

The Tokaido Yakudo Dogi has a slightly blue shimmer, which I like. I also like the heavy cloth. When I performing a Kata it really makes that ‘snappy’ sound. The sleeves have already a shorter cut and the pants are in my opinion a ‘normal’ length cut. The Dogi fits very well and also looks very good. It looks like custom made. For that good look, you need the right size. Mr. Abassalty helps, to get the right size. I can recommend this Dogi.
