This to me is the perfect all-round Dogi: light enough for kumite and yet snappy and stiff enough to look and function great in both kata and kihon. I was not satisfied with the fit of my old Dogi and decided to talk to Hamid about sizing to get a taylor-made one. It turns out the Hirota Standard is actually perfect for me and I bought the ready-made one; it's a great cut, I suppose it fits most people well. Consider that the stitching on the bottom of the dogi jacket is a little different than the ones on other premium models and consists of only two rows of stitching, so keep that in mind if you prefer another look; I dont mind and think it looks very clean and is plenty stiff to keep a nice shape.

I'm sure this will not be the last pinack kumite I'll buy!
