Many thanks to Hamid for his help in choosing the size. The size of the 5.5 on my growth 179 and weight 75 licked perfectly. Home delivery took only one week. The material and workmanship of karategi is excellent. MH-11 tissue density is ideal for training.
I got my Hirota MH-11 dogi a couple of months ago. It's a great gi and the perfect weight for training. The quality is high and the gi is very comfortable to wear. I personally prefer a gi with a high waist, but Hirota does not do this on the standard gi, only the fully tailored which costs more, of course. I'm a slim 185cm tall man, and the size 6.5 fits perfectly. I've been training for 30 years and have had a number of high quality gis, including Tokaido and Seishin. This is one of the best I have worn. I had the gi embroidered with my name in katakana, and the stitching is perfect. Highly recommended! As ever, the service from all at Kuroobiya was fantastic.
