How Long it takes

We do NOT wait for a large group of orders. Your order will be processed immediately upon receipt of payment. Please note that sometimes the manufacturer may choose to consolidate orders before sending to us.

We will try to keep you informed as best we can as to the progress of your order. Inquiries are welcome.

Hirota

Dogi with/without embroidery takes 1- 5 days for us to receive. Belts are pretty quick too. We usually get them within 3-10 days depending on belt type and embroidery. Hand made belts can take 2 to 3 weeks and silk belts can take longer depending on stock.

Special order-made (e.g. Pinak, #163, customised NW etc) take at least 3 weeks because of popularity in Japan.

Hirota has the fastest, most reliable service.

Tokyodo International

Toyodo orders currently take about 1-2 weeks to receive and send to customers. Sometimes it can be faster. The longest wait so far has been 3 weeks for a special order.

Tokaido

Tokaido takes one to two weeks  to process dogi (up to 4 weeks for special order ones) and 2 weeks to 20 days for belts.

ALL the manufacturers are prone to "seasonal" changes in service. In non busy periods in Japan, you can expect faster processing, however in peak seasons slight delays can be expected due to volume of orders and stock issues
